Let’s face it – interviewing and dating have a lot in common. Before you let it all hang out, keep in mind both are auditions for your future, not therapy sessions.

Whether it’s a date or a interview, we are all on our best behavior and it’s all downhill from there. And that’s good. You shouldn’t be oversharing. Think of both more as a press conference. Have talking points. Get to know your audience.

And remember, it’s really about the other person. So long stories about your personal life, kids and secrets can really backfire.  No one really wants to hear your long story about your ex. Any ex.

I’ve never seen a woman in an interview or on a date really eat.

You sweat a lot.
